The Gyeonggi Center for Ah-Dong Dolbom  serves as the control tower for Gyeonggi-do's childcare by strengthening public care services to realize the mission statement "Gyeonggi-do: Raise Together and Take care of One Another" To this end, it standardises the tasks performed by local hubs, improves the quality of childcare services, and establishes/revitalizes locally-tailored childcare systems to improve the profitability and impact of local hubs.

Standardizing tasks performed by local hubs

Provides guidelines and hosts discussions on local hub projects (e.g. definition, functions, roles, implementation system, direction of programs) conducted by the Gyeonggi Childcare Center, a childcare service launched in 2023, to improve understanding and effectiveness of childcare centers as well as help employees better understand all task areas.

  • Creation/operation of metropolitan councils

Improving the quality of childcare services

Aims to improve the quality of childcare services in Gyeonggi-do by bringing attention to issues experienced by childcare facilities in regions where the 14 Gyeonggi Childcare Centers are located, establishing cooperative local systems based on local characteristics and status of personnel/material resources, and designing/implementing joint projects for the proliferation of a healthy childrearing culture.

Expanding impact and improving profitability of local hub projects
